Team India Faces a Major Setback; Player Excluded from the First Match Due to Health Issues

IND W vs AUS W: First ODI of the three-match series between the women’s teams of India and Australia is being played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In this match, one star player is not part of the playing 11.

IND W vs AUS W 1st ODI: The Indian cricket team is currently playing a series of two Test matches in South Africa. On the other hand, the Indian women’s team is competing against Australia in a three-match ODI series at their home ground. The first match of the series is being played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In this match, due to health issues, one star player has not been included in the playing 11.

Health Issues for the Star Player In the match being played at Wankhede Stadium, Team India is batting first after winning the toss. However, the vice-captain of the team, Smriti Mandhana, is not part of the playing 11. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur mentioned during the toss that Smriti Mandhana is not feeling well, so she is not playing today. Additionally, the BCCI also officially stated on social media after the toss that Smriti Mandhana is unwell, and that’s why she is not playing the first ODI against Australia. It’s worth mentioning that she was recently part of the Test match played against Australia.

Playing 11 for the Australian Team Beth Mooney, Phoebe Litchfield, Ellyse Perry, Tahlia McGrath, Elise Healy (Captain), Annabel Sutherland, Ashleigh Gardner, Georgia Wareham, Alana King, Megan Schutt, Darcie Brown.
