OpenAI Introduces Canva Plugin for ChatGPT: Learn How to Utilize It
ChatGPT users now have the ability to generate visual content such as logos and banners using Canva. Below are instructions on how to install and use this plugin.
OpenAI has introduced a Canva plugin for its widely-used chatbot, ChatGPT. This plugin can be downloaded from the ‘ChatGPT plugin store’ and enables users to easily create a variety of visuals, including logos and banners. Previously, using Canva with ChatGPT required a somewhat complex process. However, with the newly introduced Canva plugin, generating impressive visuals is now just a few clicks away. Here’s how to set up and utilize the Canva ChatGPT plugin:
- To integrate Canva with ChatGPT, launch the AI-powered chatbot in your web browser. Within the plugin section, scroll down until you find the ‘Plugin Store.’
- Next, search for and install the Canva plugin. Once installation is complete, return to ChatGPT’s main interface and select ‘Canva’ from the plugin section.
- In the chatbot’s prompt box, describe what you want to create, and wait for a few seconds. For instance, you can request ChatGPT to generate a banner with a prompt such as ‘I am an avid smartphone enthusiast on Facebook. Please create a banner for my profile.’
- From the list of visuals generated by ChatGPT, choose the one you like and click on the provided link.
- You will be directed to Canva, where you can edit and download the AI-generated visual. Simply click on the ‘Share’ button and select the ‘Download’ option.
Please note that, currently, plugins are exclusively available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers, priced at $20 (approximately Rs 1,650) per month. This premium subscription grants users access to the enhanced GPT-4 large language model, which OpenAI claims can assist in generating long-form content and accept images as input.
