In the context of the legislative assembly elections, a total of 2,533 candidates are in the electoral arena from different parties. This election witnesses a direct competition between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress. However, it will only be known on December 3rd how many seats will be allocated to other parties. The polling time at 55 polling centers in the Naxal-affected Balaghat district, including Behar, Lanji, and Paraswada constituencies, as well as the Bichhiya and Mandla constituencies in Mandla district, and 40 polling centers in the Dindori district is from 7 AM to 3 PM.
