Online Desk, Bilaspur: Addressing a public gathering in Bilaspur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at the opposition party, Congress, and criticized them for corruption in every scheme. He stated that corruption has seeped into every plan, and therefore, the people of Chhattisgarh are fully prepared to remove the Congress government and bring the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) into power. Prime Minister Modi attended the closing ceremony of BJP’s ‘Parivartan Yatras’ in Bilaspur.

Prime Minister Modi highlighted that it was former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who understood Chhattisgarh’s aspirations and contributed to the development of the state. He pointed out that the BJP recognized the potential of the people of Chhattisgarh, with the state now having its High Court in Bilaspur.

He assured the audience, “I have come here today to guarantee that Modi will leave no stone unturned to turn your dreams into reality. The people’s dream is my commitment. The dreams of every family in Chhattisgarh will only be fulfilled when there is a BJP government in the state.”

‘Congress in Turmoil’ Prime Minister Modi stated that no matter how hard he tries from Delhi, the Congress government in Chhattisgarh is determined to thwart his efforts. In the past five years, Chhattisgarh has received significant funding from the Central government, including funds for various development projects such as roads, railways, and electricity. However, due to the obstruction or delays caused by the Congress government, these projects have either come to a standstill or started very late. Prime Minister Modi questioned whether Chhattisgarh would benefit from a return to power by the Congress government.

Moreover, Prime Minister Modi mentioned that the Congress government claims that Delhi never practices injustice. While everyone should be pleased about this, it has created turmoil within the entire Congress party.

‘Indian Government Has Upheld Its Responsibility’ Prime Minister Modi stated that the Indian government has approved substantial funds for development projects in Chhattisgarh and disbursed the funds. However, due to the inaction of the Congress government, these projects did not progress as swiftly as they should have.

During this time, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that the BJP government has been dedicated to improving the lives of the poor. He highlighted initiatives such as constructing toilets, providing free electricity connections through the Saubhagya Yojana, and distributing free LPG connections through the Ujjwala Yojana, which have benefited Dalit, backward, and tribal families.
