Box Office Triumph: HanuMan Collects Over Rs 150 Crore in 8 Days, Poses Tough Competition to ‘Guntur Kaaram’
The Telugu film “HanuMan,” directed by Prasanth Varma and featuring Teja Sajja, is creating a significant impact at the box office. After a decent start with an opening day collection of Rs 4.15 crores, the film has witnessed a steady rise in collections over the subsequent days. As it completes eight days in theaters, the total box office earnings stand at over Rs 98.8 crores in India, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. On the eighth day alone, the film garnered Rs 9 crore.
Globally, “HanuMan” is on track to enter the coveted Rs 200 crore club, as noted by trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan. Director Prasanth Varma had previously mentioned that the film had already crossed Rs 150 crore worldwide.
Facing competition from the Mahesh Babu starrer “Guntur Kaaram,” “HanuMan” has managed to hold its ground and provide tough competition. The Mahesh Babu film has accumulated Rs 110.9 crore at the domestic box office.
Featuring a cast including Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raj Deepak Shetty, and Vinay Rai, among others, “HanuMan” has received praise from various quarters. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, a prominent celebrity, took to social media to laud the film, expressing, “The best kind of movies are those that make us feel like a kid again… This is the wizardry that Hanuman has unleashed on the big screen.
